About Tether

Tether (USDT) is the largest dollar stablecoin: each token is designed to stay worth one US dollar. The same USDT is issued on several networks, and a token on one network can’t be sent to an address on another.

Swapnoir supports USDT on Tron (TRC20), Ethereum (ERC20), BNB Smart Chain (BEP20), Solana, TON, Polygon, Arbitrum and Avalanche. You can also swap USDT on one network for USDT on another, for example ERC20 to BEP20. The order page shows the token contract for your deposit, so you can check your wallet sends the right USDT.

Tips for Tether

  • Match the network

TRC20 addresses start with T; ERC20, BEP20, Polygon, Arbitrum and Avalanche addresses all start with 0x, so the address alone doesn’t tell the network apart. Choose the network your wallet or exchange shows for the address.

  • Keep the native coin for fees

Sending USDT costs a network fee in the network’s own coin: TRX (or energy) on Tron, ETH on Ethereum and Arbitrum, BNB on BNB Smart Chain, SOL on Solana, GRAM on TON.

  • Switch networks in one swap

Need USDT on another chain? Pick USDT on both sides with different networks, such as USDT · ERC20 to USDT · TRC20.

About swapping Tether. The help centre covers deposits, refunds and privacy.

Open the help centre
Which USDT network should I choose?

The one your wallet uses for the address you paste. TRC20, BEP20, Solana and TON are cheap to send; ERC20 is the most widely supported. If you aren’t sure, check the network label next to the address in your wallet.

What if I send USDT on the wrong network?

Tokens sent on a different network from the one on your order page may not be recoverable. Contact support straight away with your order ID and the transaction ID.

Can I move USDT from Ethereum to Tron?

Yes. Choose USDT · ERC20 as the coin you send and USDT · TRC20 as the coin you get. The amount shown already includes the fees.
